Abdul Agonga
Abdul Agonga is a Litigation counsel based out of Nairobi, Kenya. He has vast experience in the area of litigating for and on behalf of the Kenyan government in civil and corporate litigation. He has worked in the office of the Attorney General of Kenya for ten years before leaving to join the corporate world as a Company Secretary. He consequently went back to the government as legal advisor in the parastatal before being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Tana and Athi River Development Authority. He left this position to settle back to private practice. He has also worked for AWEPA, a european organization based out of Brussels advising on legislative drafting.

Nazmeen Ahmed
Nazmeen is a dedicated advocate practicing in New Delhi. She holds a degree in Anthropology and pursued law from Guwahati University. She is engaged with cases involving industrial disputes, commercial litigation, and arbitration. She began her legal career at a litigation firm, enhancing her expertise in drafting, legal research, and attending court hearings, with a focus on consumer disputes. She envisions using law as a medium to serve the sub-altern and those in need, striving to bring meaningful change at the grass-root level.

Dr. Alexander Fischer
Alexander Fischer was a professor at Jindal Global Law School (O.P. Jindal Global University) until summer 2024, where he focused on comparative constitutional law. Before his tenure at Jindal, he lectured at the SOAS School of Law, University of London, and at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg. Alex earned an LLM and a BA in Anthropology and Law from the London School of Economics, as well as a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University of Heidelberg. In his role as Consultant for RFKN, he coordinates our research initiatives, expert opinions, and the development of grant proposals.

Dr. Nicolai B. Kemle
Dr. Nicolai B. Kemle is a prominent scholar specializing in the intersection of art and law. His research and practice focus on the legal aspects affecting the art world, including intellectual property, art transactions, and cultural heritage. With a robust background in both art and legal studies, Dr. Kemle provides expertise on issues on contract law, copyright law, art restitution, and the legal frameworks surrounding art markets and institutions. His work often addresses complex legal questions related to art ownership, provenance, and the protection of artists’ rights. Dr. Kemle is recognized for his contributions to understanding how legal principles apply to artistic creation and the global art economy. In addition, Dr. Kemle also advises on contractual negotiations, management and enforcement. He is the President of the German Institute of Art and Law IFKUR, Member of the Forschungesellschaft Kunst und Recht, Vienna, and ICOM Member. He has also been an Antique Dealer since 1993.

Kyenze Rahab Mwongeli
Atul Nagarajan
Mr. Atul Nagarajan is an Advocate with more than 25 years of experience in the Indian legal system, having enrolled as an advocate in 1999. Mr. Nagarajan graduated from the ILS Law College. He is currently based in Delhi, but appears before courts all over India. His foundational years in law were focused on Labour Law, where he gained expertise in dealing with employment disputes, industrial relations, and worker rights. As his career progressed, Mr. Nagarajan broadened his practice areas to include Arbitration, Commercial, Civil, and Criminal Law. His practice areas now include corporate governance, contractual disputes, regulatory compliance, property disputes and civil rights cases. In his role as Amicus Curiae, he assisted the court in analyzing legal frameworks governing international adoptions and worked closely with the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) to streamline the adoption process for orphaned children.

K. Pallavi
Pallavi is a practicing advocate based in Delhi, India. She graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2021. She has been extensively working in commercial litigation, labour law and family law matters involving cross border issues. She represents our clients before all forums including District Courts and Delhi High Court. She has been awarded with “Early Career Award” by International Academy of Family Lawyers for her contribution towards inter-country adoption, surrogacy and cross-border family disputes.

Lavanya Regunathan Fischer
Lavanya Regunathan Fischer has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients. Lavanya is a member of the Indian Supreme Court Bar Association and a fellow of the IAFL. She has worked in the office of the Solicitor General of India and JBD law previously. In addition to her legal practice, Lavanya is involved in legal reform initiatives and her articles on issues such as child custody, guardianship, surrogacy, migration, citizenship, etc., have been published in international peer-reviewed journals.

Arushi holds an LL.M. from National University of Singapore. While she specialized in Arbitration and Contractual disputes, her interest lies in human rights laws and issues related to inclusion. She has a career spanning over 9 years as an in-house lawyer at a PSU and as a Public Policy Professional.

Sahibnoor Singh Sidhu
Sahibnoor was a Savitri Jindal Scholar at OP Jindal Global University, and a Faculty of Law Scholar at the University of Toronto. In between these academic stints, he was working in the Chambers of Hon’ble Mr Justice Hrishikesh Roy, Judge, Supreme Court of India. He specialises in arbitration, taxation, and constitutional laws- subjects that he teaches at Jindal Global Law School. He has also been a Visiting Faculty at NLSIU and Panjab University and writes regularly for various Indian news and legal websites.

Niyas Vilayathodi
Niyas Valiyathodi is a Litigation Professional in our Delhi chamber. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He primarily focuses on civil original side and commercial litigation and he regularly appears before Delhi High Court and other District Courts. Niyas began his career with a prominent litigation office where he honed his skills in legal research, drafting and wherein he handled litigation portfolios in various Courts in Delhi, including matters pertaining to Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. He has successfully defended various departments of Govt of NCT of Delhi pertaining to industrial Disputes in several Courts in Delhi.
Thibault Weigelt

Thibault Weigelt is an Associate Professor of Law at Jindal Global Law School where he
teaches courses in Public International Law and Human Rights Law and Theory. His current
research is in Law and Society and Business and Human Rights. Thibault has earned a Licence en Droit and Master 2 from Strasbourg University, a LLM from Freiburg University, and an M. Law from Basel University.
Thibault has previously worked as a independent legal consultant on cross-border matters for French and Indian clients, and as a Researcher at the
Human Rights Law Network in Delhi, where he worked on public interest litigation on economic, social, and cultural rights.

Leon Katona-Lukic
Leon is a soon-to-be law graduate from Hamburg University, with a specialization in Economic Analysis of Law, which he completed with cum laude honors. He spent a year abroad at the Erasmus Law School in Rotterdam, where he deepened his interest in interdisciplinary topics. Over the past four years, he has worked as a real estate administrator, gaining significant practical experience in negotiation and business administration.
