He has worked in the office of the Attorney General of Kenya for ten years before leaving to join the corporate world as a Company Secretary. He consequently went back to the government as legal advisor in the parastatal before being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Tana and Athi River Development Authority. Prof. Dr. Alexander Fischer is a professor and has been also at Jindal Global Law School (O.P. Jindal Global University) until summer 2024, where he focused on comparative constitutional law. Before his tenure at Jindal, he lectured at the SOAS School of Law, University of London, and at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg. Alex earned an LLM and a BA in Anthropology and Law from the London School of Economics, as well as a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University of Heidelberg. In his role as Consultant for RFKN, he coordinates our research initiatives, expert opinions, and the development of grant proposals. He is also Founder and CEO of Yoomove GmbH.
Sahibnoor was a Savitri Jindal Scholar at OP Jindal Global University, and a Faculty of Law Scholar at the University of Toronto. In between these academic stints, he was working in the Chambers of Hon’ble Mr Justice Hrishikesh Roy, Judge, Supreme Court of India.
